Neon Signs
« on: February 10, 2009, 12:11:14 pm »
So yeah... I am slowly building my own game room and it's time for a little flare. Are these pretty much a non-maintenance item? I take it the commercial grade ones are meant to be on 24/7 365 so as long as it is bright at time of purchase I should be ok?

Anything to look out for?

I think you are way overthinking this one.  There are really one two things to consider regarding neon signs, find ones you really like and price.  Prices will vary wildly on these.  Check your local shops and even internet shops.  Also, you may find a gem or two on CL.

Or better yet, find someone you know who works at a Brewery and get one for free or real cheap (this is how I got my two - although one is really an LED sign).
