This weekend I got a chance to show my brother in law my cabinet and was explaining how I had some ...er... holidays or less than perfect edges on the outside where my flush cutting bit had it's bearing disinitigrate.
He had a novel suggestion, which I'd like to share (but haven't tried yet).
He suggested for my rough looking edges near my t-molding aroudn the perimeter of the control panel to get some black latex/water based caulking (he's a plumber)... (you can get other colors if that's what you need) to fill in that crack/groove make it flush.
Now granted this won't work for everyones mistakes, but might do the trick for my particular gaff. Granted this will create a "seal" between my t-molding and my CP... but should I need to remove the t-molding caulking is easy to scrape off.
If you think about it... that's what is often done with kitchen counter tops (although there's a more functional need there to repel water rather than just making the seem look nice) and the backsplash/wall...
*shrug* when I get a chance to try it I'll take close ups of my gashes and after shots ---> but i thought it was a modest little idea worth sharing.
