Link to Mala from "guide" seems to have spyware?
« on: February 06, 2009, 10:12:57 pm »
Has anyone else found this to be the case? I went to update to the newest version and got that warning.  Is it possible that someone hacked the mamedev website?

The diagnostic from the av software said it was a version of "Win32:Hooker-D [Tool]"

EDIT: Wow, excuse my ignorance, I missed the big red warning on the right side of the site that mentioned that - can't believe I forgot that from before too - guess I should stop asking questions when I haven't had any sleep :D
(feel free to delete this thread if needs be)

Nah,,

I will leave this thread as a reminder to others.

You only need that dll for windows me or 98 anyway. It does an old fashion keystroke sniff hence sometimes is flagged as a virus

MaLa will runs fine without it.
