Is it the original cab or a conversion?

Thanks. It just got the cab and measured it and those seem about right accept are you sure the glass only is 25" wide? I may be measuring from teh wrong place but mine seems to be about 26" or so..

I measured KI1, KI2, and MK2 they are all between 25" and 25 1/16" wide  I'm measuring across the glass itself and theres no way its 26 inches across.

If it IS 26 inches, then may I ask the same question as before:

Are you SURE it's not a conversion? Just because it has the same sideart and looks similar to what you see in Malenko's avatar doesn't mean it's the exact same cab.

I'd measure it again (and post pics of the cab if possible).

Looks like 25 to me. Now if the other guy would do the same, plus post full cab pics, maybe we could figure this out.

Ya I re measured your correct. Now is there a special bracket or anything that the glass rests on? Im trying to figure out all of the things that may be missing from the cabinet. Also it came with one piece of glass for the bezel but im not sure if its the original one case it sticks out a little at the top but it fits. Do I need special brackets for a marquee as well? Thanks

The top of the glass goes up into a groove in the wood.  The bottom rests a small wood ledge.  The ledge has a gap in the middle to be able to remove the glass.

well, I guess this means no more help from Malenko!  ;D

I agree that you should have kept the sideart - it is way cooler than anything you could replace it with.

yep, I see one ding that is in an easily patchable black area. Mine has a few dings, but all very minor. No way in hell I would paint it over.

Note to all newbies: Save yourself time and money if you have a sweet original empty cabinet: design your theme around the original! You could have totally printed a new marquee with the same background that said "Mortal MAME", or something like that. Then kept the whole thing intact!

lol I love how you guys are tripping out. No it wasent in good condition it was peeling off and REALLy dinged up at certain points. Some areas had been painted over/stained. It wasent worth it. Ya it does look plain now but whatever I will change that later.
