BROKEN (FAT) PS2 $30 $20 shipped.
OK, here's the story. I have a PS2 that's probably about 6? years old. It was BRAND NEW when I broke it. I tried to install a solderless mod chip into the new system. I tried to power on the system and it didn't work anymore. It will not power on. I later found out that it was the wrong chip, and I probably blew a fuse. The drive is brand new and was only used for a few seconds to test the unit before I opened it up. So the drive should be perfect. My guess is that it's an easy fix if you know how to change the fuse (I have no idea what to look for).
I figured since some of you guys are handy with electronics, someone would get some use out of it. Maybe you have an old dead drive that you want to replace.
I'm in Queens NY. If someone wanted to pick it up, $25 $20.
I'd hate to throw this away.....I wish someone could use it.
