What's wrong with using LS-30's?

If you are using Mame, Happ sells the mechanical or optical rotaries.  Optical provides a bit more flexibility in my opinion, but sometimes people like the mechanical switching.

I'm open to suggestions.  I'm just looking for the most economical way or getting two rotaries on a switchout CP for that occasional fix.

Cheap is the work of the day?

What would be a fair price for a couple used LS-30?

I've got 2 pairs of used LS-30's, one or two may need a new spring, and I believe one of the later versions of Druin's interface.  I've been meaning to let one pair go ever since I picked up some NOS ones.

I'd have to defer to others for pricing.  I haven't been in the market for these for some time.

I bought a pair of NOS 5 years ago for $75, still waiting to install them.  :)  Not to hijack, but did these come in anything but yellow and if not what's a good replacement handle?

I guess I'll be looking for alternatives.  No way I'm spending $80 each to play a few particular games.  I should of held on to the LS-30's I had a few years ago.

You can use the Happs mechanical rotaries.

Part # 50-5618-00

http://www.happcontrols.com/joysticks/rotary_optical_joy.htm

Divemaster sells them for a better price than Happ.

He sells them BRAND NEW for $29.99 each.

You'll also need a rotary interface.

GGG sell the best rotary interface, which supports the highest number of rotary games.

You need to get a board with the Roto-X technology, such as the GP-Wiz40 MAX or GP-Wiz40-Eco :

Hope this helps.    :)
