How can I make it print to the edge of each paper....I tried taking away borders and it still does it......maybe I am doing it wrong?

I bet it's the printer related "Page Margin".

Only a very few printers have a zero page margin.  Heck, a 1/8" margin is very good; 1/4" is "normal"; but some printers have a minimum of 1/2" to 2/3" margins!

You trim the pages and overlap them, and then tape them together.  (or you bring it down to kinko's or work in my case and print it full size on a plotter -- a draft at kinko's of black and white can't be that expensive... I hope)

You're gonna be hard=pressed to find a printer that can print all the way to the edge, but you'll have better luck in general with photo printers and laser printers.

All of the newer Epson photo printers will print edge to edge now.  I have an Epson 785epx that does (it also makes fantastic prints on photo paper) and you can pick it up for $100 - $150 now, I think.  Not that this one job would justify a new printer purchase, but it really is a great printer for the money.

Hmm....I guess I'll just trim and tape.
Derek

Edit* Is there a way to double the size of the visio file (it is currently 1:2) and then save it as a photoshop file so when I work on my CP art it will be true to size??

Save it in EPS format if you can (i don't remember if that's possible but it should make for a small file size) and then just open it up in photoshop - then go to IMAGE...IMAGE SIZE...and double the dimensions.  You might lose a little resolution, but that's the quickest way to do it I think.  You probably won't be using that image in the final overlay anyways.

Cause the full scale was all messed up (stretched for some reason)...im not the brightest
Derek

I think I got it though, I saved it as an jpeg and then reset the image size in photoshop to 48x20...you think that did it.
