Wico Leaf 4-directional joystick needed
« on: March 04, 2002, 03:11:38 pm »
Does anyone have one of these available?  Video Connection is sold out, and I haven't been able to locate one anywhere.

Thanks,

Dave

I almost bid on those.

And, I called up videoconnect a couple of hours ago to make sure they had them before I sent out a money order, and I was told that they did.(But they were out of the used blank StarGate/Defender/Robotron control panels I was looking for).

Video connect had the 4-directional?  I ordered 2 8-directional ones from them yesterday and they said the 4's were out of stock.

I think they are out of the leaf switch 4ways but not the microswitchs.

I ordered 3 (one for my boss, one for games, one for qbert) and a week later, ArcadeFX's Ed got one that was a microswitch.

btw, he hates his, I like mine.

Consider going with the Oscar plates.  They are getting great reviews and are only a bit more then videoconnect (plus you don't have the extra space, you can get qbert and horizontal plates.  great all around)

Sorry, the plates are a little more then buying a 4 way, but not much more.

And the other plates are in development.  I think he has some for the old plates, but he's redesigning them.  Give him an email and ask.

I think the other plates won't be in the initial package, but can be ordered seperately
