Does this MAME Rom exist?
« on: January 23, 2009, 03:07:52 pm »
I am wondering if there is a variation of Street Fighter where a VS mode is added. Like how the Genesis and SNES versions have it........I love playing the Arcade version but would love the added ability to keep track of Stats while playing against Friends via a VS Mode

I know there are the Rainbow and crazy variations, so I thought it may very well exist.....Has anyone ever heard of something like this?

no. the VS stats were programmed into the console, the arcade hacks were just that, hacks. Im sure theres some book keeping stats in the operator menu, I know there is in mortal kombat but you're best way to keep those stats are pen and paper

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

I have a great solution in my gameroom. It's called a dry-erase board. Works for more than just one game (even the dart board!)

Just play the console versions.
