How to keep music playing

Im using mala i can play music will in the menu but when the game starts it fades out can i make it so when the music is playing that mame lowers it volume

That would lower the music volume too :-(

Possibly in the future MaLa will have the option of selecting what sound card you want MaLa to run on then things like seoerating MaLa and Mame sound would be possible
