PSX Light Gun?

I was wondering....
I just got a set of PSX light guns, since my rig runs off of a psx to usb converter...
Would they work for my cabinet? I'm using a tv as a monitor.

Oh, it's a EMS USB2 PSX to usb converter too, it's meant for lightgun use.
