My Cab 'Plans'
« on: June 23, 2003, 09:47:25 am »
Had a bunch of requests for this, as well as how I attached the top to the bottom.  Until I update my website to include the link - you can download the file which should be editable (just drag to illustrator workspace to edit)HERE.  Feel free to host it wherever.

It's pretty self-explainatory, and not very detailed - but I'm sure it could help some people.  If nothing else it's a decent starting point for someone laying out their own cab by making changes and such.

 :)
EDIT: it's now a PDF, which is more compatible

This probably sounds silly but on this forum what the heck. Is there any way to open your file if you don't have illustrator?  ;D

Forstillicus, maybe you could convert to PDF format? There are programs out there on download.com that can do it for free. When I have free time I'll start volunteering to PDF everything.

*gasp* You guys don't have Illustrator??
Heh - ok look at the link above for a new one to a PDF.

Alan- Illustrator can make native PDF files, it's pretty simple.

Thanks for the plans, Frosty (connecting the two pieces is what I'm most interested in).  Congrats on the Mamey, too!

Awesome cab Frost, thanks for posting the plans; is there any chance you can make the original artwork available as well?  Packaged up with artwork and detailed plans I think your model could become the next LuSid template!
