Just so you know, I would TOTALLY pay money to put one of these on my gameroom wall! (Or any wall). It is a piece of art, and is functional.

I would highly consider you look into refining, copyrighting, and marketing.

I would also recommend cutting material thickness in half.

Wow, thanks a lot. As a design student comments like that mean the world to me, you know? Right now I'm totally swamped, I'm working on designing a chess set (which I can upload when it's done if you guys are interested in seeing things like that). A classmate informed me of a service that does small scale production of lasercut pieces, and they ship as well. I have some changes to make eventually in order to make things totally right and tight, but I might consider setting that up so you guys could order them. It take until spring to get things right and tight. I'll keep you updated though.

Do you have a rough cost of what a laser cut set would be? I could handle final assembly if necessary.

I know to actually laser cut it, it cost 40 something dollars at my school (but most places may charge more). It's entirely affected by the number of different materials, and the time of the cut. The 40 dollars did not include the material itself though. I'd have to get an estimate from them before I can figure it all out.

An A? It doesn't even have an iPod port. I would have given you a B.

Just kidding, that thing is amazing! A+

Hah, thanks. I had an interview with Fisher-Price last week for an internship, and brought that thing along. The guy I was interviewing with seemed to dig it. I find out whether or not I got the job tomorrow. I'm excited and I hope I get it.
