Hey Everyone! I have a quick problem for you all. I had a working control panel (emphasis on the word had). Until last night when I attempted to wire 3 or 4 extra buttons that until last night remained grounded but unwired to an actual button usage to the Ipac.
Since then, win-ipac and windows does not recognize the control panel. I originally thought it was a short, but after looking at my crimping work and what not, I have come to a tenative conclusion that it probably isn't a short ( I may be wrong).
When I plug in and out the the USB cord to my I-pac windows 2k will recognize my i-pac and then suddenly not recognize it and say it's a usb device with it's driver not installed correctly. If I put in the cord at exactly the right position (not all the way and slightly bending to the right), everything seems to work correctly. But the cord and it's connection to the I-pac is so damn sensitive right now.
It wasn't like this before until I added those new buttons.
PS: Today I disconnected the buttons to the I-pac, but leaving the grounding (because it is daisychanned and was there originally). And it still gives me the same problem.
Can anyone give me some tips or anyone had the same problem?? Please help me out!
