Heart Attack Grill in Arizona
« on: January 03, 2009, 12:23:19 am »
Anyone ever been?

Hot girls, 8,000 calorie burgers, fries made in lard... sounds like heaven.
I'm fixing to go there when I'm out that way in March.

Anyone ever been?
Check it out. http://www.HeartAttackGrill.com/r?412

I was just talking to someone about that tonight. I heard you can get the burger buns fried in lard as well?

Back in the day, MickeyD's used to fry their fries in beef tallow.

In any case, I live in California and we don't have fun stuff like that. We're so ---smurfing--- uptight, that when Murder Burger opened a restaurant, all the water drinking soccer moms and bran eating dads lobbied to oust the restaurant or change the name.

Murder Burger is brilliant. Man you guys on the west coast get all the cool burger joints.

I ate at the IN-N-Out Burger all 4 nights I was in San Francisco back in Sept. Wish we had those out here. Heck, we don't even have Checkers of Jack in the Box anymore.

Isn't Murder Burger a Canadian chain?

Without question, In-N-Out puts Jack on Crack to shame. Jack might have a bigger selection, but I'll wolf down three animal styles any day.

I don't know what's the big deal about In-N-Out.  Better than Mikkie-Ds, yes, but I put the burgers on the same level as jack and carl's jr, but a little on the small side.  In-N-Out's frys suck IMO; double cook them like all the others do (I'm assuming this is why I don't like 'em, many places now have "natural" fries, and they're way better then in-n-outs).  The shake is okay, about the same level as jack's, but not quite as good as wendy's, and no where close to carl's.

Nation's, now that's a burger, and great pies.  No hot girls, though.

All opinion, of course.

:o Do they have 911 on speed dial there?

Over here in the UK there's fast food places that do deep fried chocolate bars, like Snickers, Mars bar etc. Not had one myself funnily enough  :dizzy:

I think it was back in 2006 that the State Attorney General sent the Heart Attack Grill a letter telling them to stop using the term nurse; since they were not Board certified Health Care Workers.

The fun continues here in AZ.

When I was in SoCal in '90, I heard about Murder Burger from a guy I worked with who was from Sacramento. Another guy I worked with who was a native of L.A. said, when we stopped at one, that InO wasn't the same as it used to be.

Frying goodies: this reminds me of having a fried twinkie. Hmmm. Lard's is good for ya, you know.
