Need a website with a list of arcade game controls

Hey everyone! I'm in the process of adding a whole bunch of arcade games to my computer which i've never played before for my family, and as a result I'm not quite familiar with what buttons do what in the games.

Does anyone have a website that lists what arcade button corresponds to what control for individual games? It'd save me a TON of time testing things!

Not as complete as above mentioned MAWS, but more detailed is controls.dat.  And maws is less complete than mame's -listxml output (maws only lists one type input per game, when a small percentage have more than one type).  Romlister can help shrink/query the listxml file.
