::copied from my craigslist ad::
i have an eee pc netbook here for sale with plenty of extras... $300
It's a white 9 inch eee pc netbook
includes the wireless internet (or wired using the ethernet port), headphone and mic ports, built in speakers, 3 usb ports, vga out port to connect an external monitor, and sd card slot.
1.6ghz intel atom processor... very power efficient... runs about 4 hours on a single charge... I had upgraded it from the standard 512mb of ram to 2gb of ram, and i upgraded the storage space from a 4gb ssd to a 32gb ssd...it also includes a slimline dvd and cd burner that is all usb powered so you can take it with you on the go, no power cords to fumble with except the charger for the netbook itself. I also have a case that fits the netbook, power cord, dvd drive and an ethernet cable while still having room to fit something else if need be.
Let me know if you're interested... I won't split this up...and I won't drop any lower on my price. This is an excellent deal, especially around Christmas time... the dvd drive was 100 bucks (can use on any computer), the ram upgrade was $50 and the ssd upgrade was another 100...between the cost of the netbook and the upgrade prices (not to mention cost of the carrying case) I've spent at least 600 dollars on this thing...
I can install windows xp or ubuntu eee (linux) for you.
email me only if you're serious about buying it or you have a question... no lowballers. price is firm.

these little laptops work great for emulators, and with the usb ports and vga out you could have a nice lightweight solution for a bartop cab or an arcade cab...the ssd reads fast and its the 32gb one so it could hold a lot of games, you could also use the sd slot or flash drives to add even more games for fast loading, or just throw in a usb hard drive and call it a day...it also runs wow just fine and some of the fps games.
