testing the waters
« on: December 07, 2008, 10:37:10 am »
I have a softmodded 160gb xbox with a full set of emulators including coin ops gold (newest version of mame) and some xbox software... naturally...the xbox games will have to go unless you own them, and I'll clear the roms on there too... can't sell roms..but it's preloaded for you to add roms or games (i can show u how and include a cd with with free ftp software and instructions so you can copy yours over) Not sure what I want or how much for it. I'm open to offers.

My brother in law is looking to get an xbox for his 8 year old for xmas.  I was gonna mod it for him, but if yours is all ready to roll, We might consider just buying yours.  It would have to be reasonably priced though as I have all the stuff to do soft mods myself.

Shoot me a number.

If you can get $200 for it, mine will go up for sale immediately. Used xboxes are only $40 these days, and harddrives are dirt cheap as well. I'll be watching this thread to see if there is any interest at that price.

I'd also trade it for a laptop.

While it's hard to argue with this statement, I agree that you were asking a little much for the Xbox.

I'd sell a 1tb Xbox with a TSOP mod loaded for 200.

Not as much of a tool as a guy that misuses the term tool.

I think you meant 'chad'.   ;)

fix't, you're welcome
