Fighting game move book
« on: December 04, 2008, 01:18:25 pm »
Anyone know if there is some kind of a book of fighting game moves to buy online? I'd like to have one to keep right by my cab. Maybe something along the lines of this: http://www.lulu.com/content/328510 but not an ebook

It has been formatted for optimal 8.5 x 11 printing and is fully bookmarked.

So why not buy it and then print it ?

hmmm thought about that but i kind of want something more professional looking rather than printed out on normal 8.5X11 sheets of paper stapled together. Maybe I could take it to a professional printing place and see what they could do.

Or you can compile your own and have it printed.  Just go to Gamefaqs to get all the moves...

If you are only getting one book made it will probably cost a great deal of money.

I'd maybe setup a menu system that would show the button combos and the sprites for the combo on a separate screen.  Unfortunately that would be a waste of electricity and parts, but it would look good.

You can buy your own fancy binding stuff at places like this...
You can do some types at home without any fancy equipment.

I tend to only order online from companies that dont have such glaring typographical errors... They seem like a good deal, but... ???

CPWizard supports Command.Dat so you can actually press a key while playing a game to view the different moves for fighter games.

yeah...that place has a minimum order, too ... so bad example.  Maybe a regular office supply chain will have something nice.

CPWiz is excellent for this...  I use it and when playing fighting games just simply hit the button for info and it has the moves lists on screen.  No need to fumble around with a book when it is all right there in front of you.
