I just grabbed today's deal at $46.  I need a decent sized external drive for a family photo archival project.  This drive should be fine so long as I don't keep it powered when not in use.  I like the supply/demand type pricing.

Price will continue to jump up and down quickly .... even at $46 that's a good deal.
I know it's a "refurbished" drive, but that's about as good as "new" these days.

Tempted to nab one myself.
Not a technician . . . . just a DIY'er.

Meh, it was on the way up fast when I bought mine.  The problem is you have no way of knowing how many they have, so if you don't grab it at a decent price, you may lose the chance.  Pretty decent little experiment in psychology going on here.

Yeah, back up right now to 42.  Have to research terabyte drives, though. Might be worth it to pay some more or even wait a few to several months for the look ahead.
