control panel shell

any chance I can buy a 2 player control panel shell for around 100 dollars? this way I canget an ipac or something and wire in my own buttons...

anyone? i've only found one guy so far and his look crappy...

also does the ipac come with the keyboard passthrough wire? I know u plug the keyboard to it, but does it come with the wire from the ipac to the computer? What about the other wiring does it come with that?

also, how do you mount the sticks and buttons in the  panel?

im a noob. lol

Here is one from mameroom for 99.99  I know you can customize the layout too for 20 more bucks.  There's also one without a trackball for 75:

These are good products that are easy to put together and very sturdy.

You could always look for a used x-arcade and gut it or add whatever.

seems like in the end its cheaper to go with the tankstick... just wish i could change out the sticks and buttons somehow... anyone have a tutorial?

If you change out the stick on a tankstick with a new encoder and buttons you'll be spending more than if you get the encoder and the buttons and put them in something from mameroom.  Now if you keep the xarcade encoder and just replace the buttons, it shouldn't be too hard depending on if they solder the button wires or use quick disconnects.
