VFM2-L1 Bill Acceptor Wiring

This is a VFM2-L1 bill acceptor. I've searched and searched for how to wire this up and couldn't figure it out. I was hoping I could get some help here.

I've got one plastic connector with 3 wires (black, white, green), and a second connector with 2 wires (black and red). and then a third green wire which I believe to link back to the first connector (also green).

If I had to guess, I would say that the 2-wire connector (black, red) would hook up to the circuit board that adapts my buttons to the computer.

The other connector....
White = Positive?
Black = Negative?
Green = Ground?

That sounds right, but I'm no electrician. Also, are these running 12v?
