Two cabinet in MO
« on: June 18, 2003, 01:30:08 am »
I still have two empty cabinets left in St. Louis, MO.

Amazing Maze. Slightly wider than standard cabinets. Painted glass/marquee is good, control panel and coin door are present and acceptable, painted art is all there. Back door is missing. This would probably take a pretty big monitor, although it would poke put the back some (came with a 23" originally).

Space Firebird - Sega mini cabinet. Externally complete (except for joystick). Good condition, all artwork present, will only take a small monitor, which I will toss in with the deal (14" VGA).

Make offers. I would like to move these two to make space for a Black Widow vector.

Do you have pictures of the cabinets?  I might be interested in one of them.  I live in St. Louis so I can pick it up.

I can take pictures of the Amazing Maze if you want. Can't photograph the other one because it isn't at my house. Looks just like this one though. Although in slightly better condition.

The Amazing Maze looks like this picture here. Except that mine doesn't have that 3" black base at the bottom.

I can also take pictures of the specific one I have, but it pretty much looks just like that.

Damn.. those cabs look like they would have been pretty cool to fix up and keep (too bad those are probably really nice-looking examples of each) with their original games..

The Maze was complete when I received it, but the boardset didn't work, and I couldn't get it working, so I sold the monitor, boardset, and power supply to someone so they could get their Sea Wolf going.

The Amazing Maze should clean up to be almost as nice as that picture (which is from the flyer). Only issue with it is a few small paint flakes missing off the glass (and the cardboard bezel inside looks like it got wet once, but I couldn't imagine anyone wanting a green overlay on their MAME screen anyway). As far as I know that is the ONLY decent Amazing Maze upright cabinet left in the world. I did a lot of research when I was trying to fix it, and the only one I was able to locate at all was one that had been hacked up, painted over, glass scraped, and turned into a bootleg Space Invaders. I couldn't even find mention of any other uprights besides mine and that converted one. I did find a mention of a cocktail one that someone saw in a warehouse though.
