FS: Potential MAME or Home Theater PC
« on: November 16, 2008, 07:41:26 pm »
I picked up a few computers and this one came in the lot.  It was a bit of an oddity so I pulled it aside.  It appears at one time to have been a PLIX Multi Media PC.  I did some research and the company is no more.  Someone removed the front controls and left the rest.  Here is what I know.

Small form case
Real INtel 2.8 CPU
40 GiG hard drive
512 RAM
DVI output only
CD/DVD Drive

It had UBUNTU on it and I didn't have the passwords so I just re-installed it to make sure the machine worked ok.  I am sure there is no warranty but it works.  It should work good in a MAME cab with a DVI TV or as a home theater pc hooked up to a tv.   If no one wants it here I will craigs list it.

I have bought and sold a few things here but before the ratings system was implemented.  Timoe and my self have done a few trades.  I think $125 + actual shipping is fair but will look at any offer.  Shipping should be 20-30 depending.  The pc is heavy for its size and will need a big will protected box to ship.  If you are in southern california I would have no problem with a face to face.

Can you post a picture of the inside?
