Recommended shipping companies for full-size arcade cabs?
« on: November 15, 2008, 07:10:14 pm »
Gas prices and the economy have certainly made for some ugly shipping expenses lately, but does anyone have a recent, positive shipping experience using a company that regularly deals with arcade games?  This always seems to be the killer expense for those of us on the west coast.  I'm in zip code 92128 and am looking to buy a 310 pound upright arcade machine based in the Wisconsin area for shipment to San Diego.  Any helpful info would be greatly appreciated.

NAVL.  Just got my 720 shipped via them.  I started looking into uship and I believe freightquote, but they were more expensive and are more of a 3rd party.  PilotAir is the cheapest and I've heard good things about them as well.

I can look up the contact info for NAVL if you are interested.  They have a dedicated division related to arcade games and such.

That would be great!  I went to the NAVL site but didn't see anything dedicated for arcade stuff.  I appreciate your help :)
