What model lock? C625? Will it come with a straight and offset cam?
It only comes with a straight cam. I /think/ it's a C625.
Obviously it's up to you, but I wonder if it would be better or easier to just offer 7/8 locks and have them come with a straight and offset cam. Then the user has the option of using it as a 7/8" lock or a 1 1/8" lock or even a 5/8" lock. Also, you would only have to buy 1 size lock and it might be easier to stock or make your minimum purchase. Thoughts?
That would involve getting the separate cams. I can see if I can get the offsets, but the place I'm purchasing them from has assured me that regardless of length I can still get the quantity discount.
question.. how do i measure to find out what size i need?
is it from nose to tail? or do you measure only the threaded part or what?
You measure the threaded part, yes. Over/Under doors, Coin Controls doors (like you'd find on a Williams Classic cab) take a 7/8" lock. Midway doors (Pac-Man, Galaga, etc) take a 1 1/8".
I will take 4 for a neogeo MVS Cabinet. I need one for the coin door and the coin collector door and two for the top of the cabinet were the speaker are located. Let me know if those lock will work with it please
The coin doors are easy - 7/8" (over/under, correct?). I believe the upper ones are 5/8", and I wouldn't replace them if you already have them. Keep that key in your coin door. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than I about Neo Geo cabs will speak up...
