I own one of these, the controllers daisy chain to eachother. Look on the side where the cord is, there is a DB9 port on the controller itself.

The wording caught me off guard, I got the feeling you didn't know this.

Keep in mind that one must have an input for a second controller, FZ-1 had only 1 input!

Reading it again, it can come off as meaning "One of the controllers must have an input....." which I assume is what you meant.
