Mini in what way? Not as deep, or 1/2 the size? 1/10 the size?

If you want something scaled down, your going to be out of luck, but if you want something that isn't as deep there may be some options.

I'm looking for something to replace the buttons i have in a converted Casino Master II.  I'm using it as a board test rig.  Its nice and small.

Right now i have all the controls (including the directions) using little cherry switch buttons.  Just wanted to get that authentic feel...  To make testing a bit better.

So, ya.  I guess i need things scaled down.

Found this on Ebay...

Just need the stick and im good to go.

No probs.  I make small cabs, so I need a small 4 way to play the classics.

This one is the best and it secures on Wood or Metal nicely.

Its a winner.

I'll say that and when i place an order  the site will probably sell out now... ;D

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

Those buttons will not be responsive enough for gameplay. They tend to be VERY tight and hard to press.

Yeah reflecting on the buttons, I already from tried them from Gremlin, but these are great:

Gremlin Solutions is a great place to get them from.  :applaud:

Those from gremlin are the 30mm ones, and they are quite big. The Sanwa 24mm buttons however, are very nice and tiny:

They make mini balltops for sanwa and seimitsu sticks, so that combined with the 24mm should be good.

I personally don't think they would be good for six button fighting games, but if all you are after is a test rig, then I think they would be fine.

However, I think you should go with 3 regular sized buttons and 3 small test buttons for each player.  This way, you can play 3 button games normally while preserving the ability to test 6 button games.

What kinds of buttons are smaller than 24mm?  There has to be some very tiny buttons for non-arcade use that he could put in.

Just how small is this cabinet? Ideally tell us the control panel surface width and depth (front to back). Going smaller with the controls you may end up paying more, and they may also hamper the gameplay more than just using regular buttons and sticks and just being a bit more creative with your layout. Check out our machines for an idea of what I mean, as our panels are much smaller than conventional 'American' cabinets.
