Stay with it ... eventually one of those deals will find its way to you.

Or can you figure out who the local guy is who snatches up everything (yes, I'm looking at you, b1bug!) and can work things out with him, even if it means removing him from the planet.

I actually know one of them around here. He's a good guy though, and has room for them. The Tron was a (semi-)local monitor repair guy.
