« on: November 03, 2008, 10:30:11 am »
hello I have 3 astro city power units that lost the -5 VDC (so I can't hear the sound on taito pcbs etc).
anybody knows about this common issue and how to fix it?

Output rectifier problem perhaps ? I haven't repaired a switcher yet, so this is a guess.

If you have a meter and can find the diodes on the output for the -5V, check them.
