FS: MAME cabinet for sale
« on: November 02, 2008, 03:53:15 pm »
Hi all!

I've got a really awesome mame cabinet for sale, I'm going to put it up on ebay but before I do I wanted to quickly post on here to see if any of you guys would like to snap it up first.

I'm not sure what I want for it right now so please make me an offer I can't refuse. Payments can be made in cash on collection or paypal. Let me know if there is any other form of payment you may want to make.

First off, the cabinet is in Walton-on-thames, Surrey (UK) and you can either collect it, or contact speedlink (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Delivery-Service-for-ALL-Arcade-Video-Fruit-Machines_W0QQitemZ320315737458QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item320315737458&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318) for a delivery quote, I'm fine with both.

Post code is KT123NT

It has the following features:

26 inch monitor with no screen burn and in perfect condition (may be bigger, it's difficult to measure behind the glass, so I'm advertising as 26")
Powerful amplifier
J-PAC
Video amplifier
Coin mech (as far as I know it's working but I've never tried it so don't count on it)
Marquee back light (currently has a Tekken 4 marquee)
Buttons: 1up, 2up, credit, escape, 6xplayer 1 buttons, 6xplayer 2 buttons, player 1 joystick and player 2 joystick (very nice ones)
Contains fully mame'd up PC which powers on when it is plugged into the mains. ArcadeVGA card inside. It isn't a very powerful one, I think it's a 1GHz P3 with 256MB ram, but it runs most classics fine. If you play higher spec games then I suggest you upgrade the PC.
Spare parts for the monitor are also included. I don't fully understand what all of these are so see for yourself in the pics below.

Dimensions:
This is a huge cabinet, so make sure you have someplace to put it! I managed to get it though a standard doorway but I had to take off the front control panel which is not an easy job. A garage would be ideal for this...

Depth: 84cm
Width: 90cm
Height: 196cm

Let me know if you have any questions

Are there any pictures of it completely put together? i.e. a 'full body shot'? I can't tell if it's a tall or short model.

Yea it's a fat git!

It's really nice though, it fits 2 people on without the usual elbo rubbing... unless you're into that sort of thing ;)
