Images for turbocad

Do you know where I can find images of typical control panel components that would be suitable for Turbocad?

You're welcome to have some simple 2D images that I designed. Unfortunately I don't have my own website and my email account is almost full so you'll have to give me somewhere to upload them.

Alternatively you could try Oscar. He has drawn some high quality 3D images of all the common components. They are in AutoCAD format but it might be possible to load them into TurboCAD.

Do you have a link to Oscar's Autocad files? I can't find them.

I would like your AutoCAD images as well.  I can provide a place to put them if necessary.

I can't figure out how to view those files. Is it possible in Turbo CAD? If not, are there any freeware programs that can view them? AutoCad is way beyond my budget.

Try Volo View.  I've never used it for 3D drawings, but it is supposed to support them.

Thanks. I'm downloading it as I type.

TurboCAD says it supports DWG and DXF files, but it gives me an error message whenever I try to open one of yours. It says "Failed to open D:\turbocad\Drawinds\button-happhorizonal_01.dxf: File format error  Line 0.

My parts were drawn in AutoCAD 2002 and saved in ACAD 2000 format.  Maybe a compatibility problem?  I haven't used TurboCAD before, so I can't say for sure...

I have TurboCAD also and had trouble opening them.  I also tried to open them in Illustrator (it supports this file type) and it had trouble too.

I'm sure the files work fine in AutoCAD though.  They seem to be missing something or I'm missing something.  Oh wel...

Thanks for trying.
