Help me critique my CP!
« on: November 02, 2008, 01:43:30 pm »
Hey guys.  Some of you might have seen this before but after letting it sit for a while I decided to redo a bit of it.  I def want to be sure before printing so I decided to sit on it a bit.  Here is the result.  Comments?

Here is the cabinet as it stands now:

Here is the proposed CP:

Same thing with a little extra Gundam in the background:

What do you think?

Looks good to me.  About the only scrutiny I might have is that the Gundam mechs themselves look a bit on the low-res side.  It might have served you to trace those out as vectors and use those instead.  Otherwise, nice work!

A little bit better?  I ran a sharpening filter on the gundam.

Do you think the one with the middle gundum is better or should I keep it simple without it?

That certainly helps.  I think I'd recommend finding someone to do a "cheap" print of this to get an idea as to whether that translucent gundam will even be visible.  As I've been told - you want to make your primary element(s) pop out from the background.

Thanks for all the commentary Numbski!

I am still very unsure about all my choices so I've been working a little more on it.

Decided on a colour scheme change and simpler text.  How about this?

Also, if you have any suggestions for an image change at the center I'm all ears.

Thanks in advance!

Nice cp I would keep the old txt looked much better or if you want to keep the plain text I would go with a more fancy font as for the image in the center it looks fine if you want to get a higher res image search on google images
