Cheap or just cheap stuff?
« on: November 01, 2008, 01:56:16 am »
I can't find the thread this link was in, and the thread was only on one item, so I thought I'd start another one. Is all this stuff cheap?  Or is it junk?  For example:

Arcade RGB CGA to TV and Video Composite converter(NEW)  US$23.99/ea  (scroll down the about a third of the way)

I have used that rgb to svid and composite adapter before.  It is better than a neobitz that does the same thing.  Worked great for me and the price isn't bad.

That ps/2 keyboard encoder thing is likely a piece of crap with all kinds of multpile key press issues.

Anything you buy from that guy will be covered in dust or dirt.  I think he buries his wares in his back yard for safe storage.

He goes by yaton or y-plus on ebay.

This exact question was raised on another board a few weeks ago and nobody had tried it.

I've bought stuff from Yaton in the past and he made it right the only time we ever had a problem. That's about all I can say.
