Thanks!

Edit: Got one!

Thanks again for pointing these out. I now have a cab sitting in my garage. It's in really good condition, and even came complete with bezel glass and mirror. It's all black with a nice surface, so all I will need to do is fit a new CP to it and add some graphics.

Pongo,

Where does this guy live??  I left a message on the board, but haven't heard back.  Do you have his e-mail or phone number??

Thx,
Mame Nut

He lives in Maplewood.

Did you send him a PM from that forum? That's what I did and got a pretty rapid response. Unfortunately I tossed the phone number he gave me,... he was in the process of switching over to a new number.

I'll try and get some pics soon when I'm home during the day. It's all pretty dark in my garage now.

Here are some pics. It will be a bit before I can really start work on this, so I won't submit it as a project until things start rolling.

Anyways, you can see the general condition of the cab here,... nice and clean inside too. I set my temp CP on top to see how it would measure up and things look good. The final CP will be a bit wider to accommodate a trackball in the center, but should be mostly the same.

I've got to spend some design time now to figure out the best way to integrate the CP into the cab without making it look like a tacked on CP. Also, I may need to scrap using the mirror if I can't find a good way to flip my monitor. I know MAME can flip things, but I will be running more than just MAME on this.

Hmmm. Looks like it'd be good to chop that pedestal down the thickness of your CP.
