Wiring question - GP WIZ 49 MAX
« on: October 22, 2008, 01:25:02 am »
I purchased the GP-Wiz49 Max interface from GGG. I also purchased the 49 way joystick cable at the same time. And since GGG offered, I asked them to hook up the 49-way joystick cable to the interface, which they did.

I am about to start my wiring and I am confused. The first step is to connect the ground. I get how to daisy chain, but I'm not certain where I should connect my ground wire to on the interface itself. There is only one spot for the ground on the GP-wiz 49 interface, and it's already got a wire in it, running to the joystick. I cannot see a spot on the joystick to run a ground wire from. Do I run a second wire into that same ground terminal? Or what?

Yep, ground is ground.  You can connect more than one ground wire there.

Thank you! I got that impression from your YouTube video, but I didn't want to break anything.  :)
