GGG KeyWiz40-ST Power Draw (5v @ ???mA)?
« on: October 05, 2008, 11:32:28 am »
I'm considering using the 5v that's available on the KeyWiz40 to power the LED on my GGG Electric Ice Trackball.  Probably just one color (i.e. one LED of the 3 or 4 that light the trackball.).... more if I can.

The KeyWiz draws it's power from the USB port... assuming that I'm getting the full current allowance of the USB port (500mA)...

I need to know the current requirement for the KeyWiz40.

I know that I could just try it and see what happens... but I figured that someone on this board might know.
... Why is it that you always find it in the last place that you look? ...
