Cubs miracle?
« on: October 03, 2008, 03:38:22 pm »
Can the Cubbies pull it off and hand Torrey his 2nd worst come from behind defeat???

I'll be at the game tomorrow hoping so.  Otherwise it's gonna be a long walk out of that stadium with a Cubs hat on.

Anyone else going?

I grew up in the south burbs of Chicago, so I'm a White Sox fan.  I'm lovin' the situation the "Cubbies" find themselves in.   >:D

That said, have fun at the game tomorrow.   :D

Well it's not exactly like the Sox are sitting pretty either.

Nope and neither is the team I root for now - the Brewers.  But that's fine with me as long as the Cubs continue to struggle.   ;D

Thanks for letting us borrow your field for that no hitter.  Much appreciated.

And then the next day, Lily throws a one hitter.  Pretty impressive - no hitter followed by a one hitter.  The Astros had to be shell shocked - first hurricane Ike, then Zambrano & Lily.

That idiot Daley was worried about drunk fans celebrating, so he had all the local bars promise not to serve alcohol after the 7th inning in the world series.

Maybe he should have had the Cubs promise they’d be in the world series first.

The Sux are out.

maybe Chicago's WNBA can win something for us.
