Hang On w/Pedal?
« on: October 01, 2008, 01:32:54 pm »
Any idea why this cab would have a pedal?  I thought Hang On used handlebar throttle?

Kinda hard to tell from the pic, but it doesn't even look like it has the grip assemblies.
Which means the throttle mech may be gone. (?)
So maybe somebody "fixed" it with the pedal assembly.

But yes, it's supposed to be a grip throttle.

(think there should be a hand brake lever as well)

Not a technician . . . . just a DIY'er.

Yep, brake and throttle.

Kind of silly to slap on a pedal on a motorcycle racing game.

Kevin's probably right, it's probably a bad hack job. I thought the cabinet was a junk MAME conversion but I don't see any sort of shifter.

Probably better than what the last screwup did with my cabinet. Shorting out the throttle and forcing the player to control speeds with the brake.
