first post snippet when hover over subject?

On other forums (vbulletin for example), you can hover the mouse over a thread subject link (in the main view), and up pops a short snippet of text from the first post.  I really like this feature as I can see from an ambiguous subject what the gist of the thread is about.

Might this be possible to add to BYOAC?

Hmm I had a quick look on the SMF plugin site but couldn't find anything.  I can't believe there isn't a plugin for this!!

Hmm if it's php I guess I could try to write one...

Man, I would love that.  I'm always berating people for writing mystery subject lines like, "Check this out!"  or, "Can anyone help me with this?"
