Trackball Spinner Issue (spinner goes vertical!)
« on: September 28, 2008, 06:29:22 pm »
My Happ trackball is working fine (Windows and Mame) but the Happs USB spinner is on the wrong axis. I know I could invert the trackball wires and tell my front end to invert them but then my trackball would not work outside of Mame.

Any idea how to solve this problem?

Thanks

JM

Not enough info on your setup to be much help.
Are the TB & spinner are sharing the same USB encoder? (almost sounds like it)
Which happs USB spinner are you talking about?  (there were a few different versions)
Is the TB the USB version, or are you going through an optipac/optiwiz?
Do you mean switch the axes, or invert each one?  (the latter won't help)

Assuming the spinner has its own encoder, look at the board and see if there are any dipswitches.

Thanks! you were right the slikstik has a dipswitch to chage the axis. Every thing is fine now.
