U-track movement?
« on: September 26, 2008, 03:53:32 pm »
I have my trackball set up but I cant get it to go in a straight line.  It seems to move just fine, but I can not move it in a straight line by moving the ball in a straight line.  It moves where I want it to, but it takes a lot of correction.  I only have it hooked up to a pc now to make sure it worked, so I have not messed with any setting in Mame, but I assume it should move like a mouse? Been along time since I used a trackball.

Nevermind, I got it.

Usually because it needs bedding-in, is mounted at an angle or needs fine-tuning.

I hate to admit this, but when I was mounting it, I mounted it even and square to the panel, when in fact it mounts with the "arrow" pointing straight up.  I did not notice the arrow till after I had it mounted in the panel.  I have to remount it now.  That was my problem, so was just my bad for not paying attention.
