29" Arcade monitor for $10.00? Sounds like a good deal to me.  These show up infrequently on ebay and craigslist around the country.  Don't know about this particular auction though, things like "we were unable to test it further" are not always a good sign.

but if you live near enough for local pickup and you're willing to risk it:

I have several of these studio/presentation type monitors, and all of them are great.
This monitor would be perfect for somebody who was into MAME and wanted to play games in their original resolution but didn't have the space, time, or money for a cabinet.

Also, I use my 37" monitor like this one for playing 720p video, and it looks really good.  Maybe not quite as sharp as modern HDTV's, but still miles better than watching on an equivalent SDTV.

Don't know about this particular auction though, things like "we were unable to test it further" are not always a good sign.

Increasingly rare this year - OR there are a few long-standing auctions where they're wanting a few/several hundred dollars for them. No on bought this one either. One of the things about it for me, even if it works properly, is I'm spoiled with full-range multisyncs. This one doesn't do mid-range, that is there's a gap between 15 and 31khz. But still worth a hundred plus a hundred shipping if the picture's really good.

Awesome monitor - I have one, got it for free from my previous employment when they moved out of the building they were in. Built like a tank, and weighs like one too.

Banderson hasn't again reposted that monitor. (No surprise.) I sent them a message telling them if they could test it they might get a bunch more for it, but no response. I think they don't answer their messages that way. They have a special message deal down the page of the auctions. Hmmm. Well, AVForSale's got some good stuff.

Check this auction out. Lot of 6 mostly good monitors with external speakers included, basically for the price of shipping. And most of their others are going for about a hundred dollars at most. Many for less. Shipping isn't bad, either. They've changed their method I guess, and the have a chart of how things break down by region for the specific item.
