Always wondered this, but is there a way to beat the Green Goblin?  Never figured it out.

You simply had to avoid him to win the level IIRC and get the bomb.

sound right to me, all you did in that game was climb up the side of the building. there were no enemies to "defeat"

I must of missed the bomb part.  I'd avoid him forever, but never past the level.
