Small cab design question
« on: September 18, 2008, 03:38:47 am »
Looking at this cab by custom arcades, I'm wondering....

It's a nice design....but two things:

- do you think it would be noticeable if all the corners and edges were routed?

- if so, do you think this would look good?

IMO, arcade cabinets ALWAYS look better with t-molding on the edges.

Why would you look to do this? If you're buying one surely it comes pre-routed for T-moulding or already installed...

Never build a cabinet without T-moulding; that's a big part of keeping the authentic look!

Something like that I think.

I agree.  Plus, you're forced to paint it.  No t-molding, no laminate.  Some people around here get pretty damn good results with paint.  Not me though.
