Micro-leaf (with Mag-Stik Plus) question
« on: September 11, 2008, 09:12:50 pm »
I am about to add a Mag-Stik plus to my bartop project, and was wondering if the default microswitches could be replaced with the microleafs from GGG.com.  http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=73&products_id=309  I just ordered a bunch of  them for my pushbuttons, and was wondering if I should get 4 more for my joystick (the clicking is kind of annoying).
Also, this may be a stupid question, but I'm assuming that when I finally wire the joystick that the switches for up/down and left/right need to be reversed.  For instance, when you move the stick right, the switch on the left is activated...so I'm assuming that the left switch is the one that needs to be connected to "Player 1 right".  Am I correct?  Thanks you very much for any advice  :)

No. (See linked comment from Randy.)

Yes. If you are using quick disconnects you can swap them if you have made a mistake.
