Good deal on sit down stun runner
« on: September 11, 2008, 11:28:30 am »
I found a full stun runner sit down on craigslist in my area for 200 dollars.  The only thing wrong with it is the monitor shows no picture, it still turns on and has sound etc.  Would this be a pretty good deal?

Also how easy would it be to intereface the yoke with a computer for mame if I wanted to go that route?

You are lucky - that game is standard res. I always thought it was medium. Anyways, if the monitor is bad then a suitable replacement should be easy to come by.

Great game, great cabinet, and unique controller.

Yeah I just spoke to the guy and he said the monitor replacement would be pretty easy, he just didn't have the time for the project and wanted to get it to someone that did.

Might just be a monitor fix. How was the controller unique? It's an SW-type yoke.

Unique enough that 99% of MAME cabinets do not have one.
