I think my JPAC took a dump!
« on: September 07, 2008, 08:09:10 pm »
My specs:

Jamma cab with Wells 19" monitor
ArcadeVGA
JPAC

I have had these components for a few years but have had very few hours on them as my cab set for many years until maybe 2 months ago I got everything back up and running.

Everything has been going fine until yesterday when I noticed the shift function not quite working so I opened the CP to look and then I noticed the image on the monitor went to poop. I look and the sync lights are not on on the JPAC.

From what I can see on the screen I press player 1 start and can tell the game doesn't start.

I checked all the connections twice and nothing happens. The JPAC lights don't blink or anything on start up.

So I guess I'm crap outta luck here? Am I gonna have to buy another JPAC?

Ok I went to check the connections a 3rd time and found the plug that plugs into the PC was a tad loose!!

I feel like an idiot!

But the shift function isn't working still. What gives?

I even tried changing keyboards thinking it might be a stuck key.
