Update: some MAME games displaying off center
« on: August 26, 2008, 10:26:13 am »
I'm puzzled here. I am using Mame 0.98 with Mala.

The gamelist in Mala is displayed directly in the center of the screen but when I go into some games such as Final Fight, donkey Kong etc the game is displayed about 1-2 inches towards the left off center.

Anyone have any ideas of how to correct this?

Are you using a pc monitor or an arcade monitor. It probably has to do with resolution switching. I even had the same issue with a 48-1 board in a machine between different games.

I'm currently using it on a dell crt monitor but I get the same thing when I hook it up to the TV with the S-Video input.

Change the native resolution of MALA to match your desktop settings.
