WTB: Original NFL Blitz Hard Drive and Cables
« on: August 21, 2008, 01:23:19 am »
I have an Original NFL Blitz bare PCB and need the Hard Drive, IDE and Power Cables.  If anyone has one for sale at a reasonable price, let me know.  Thanks.

just my opinion here,  but you should maybe get the flash drive replacement instead

You can make a Blitz hard drive using MAME out of any old hard drive you have.

no replacement eprom needed on that one, but you will need a 4 gig CF card with IDE adapter for the image file.  Its actually just over 2 gig (after you decompress the CHD file)but since they dont make 3 gig CF cards your stuck needing a 4 gig.......or you could just get a 2.5 gig harddrive...

Theres a guy on ebay that sells just about every type of arcade harddrive, you should hit him up.(except Killer Instincts, I used to sell KI CF cards and eproms)

I know, but I was hoping someone here had a set laying around.  Plus, I need the power and IDE cables and the guys on eBay want a lot more money to add those.

you can make the power cables by splicing off of your jamma power supply, the IDE cable should be cheap.  Heres a vid of Blitz99 running on CF I made,(just to prove that it does work)
